THE OPPORTUNITY

Wavicle Data Solutions, LLC seeks a Lead Business Intelligence Analyst.

• Identify data requirements and sources within legacy systems for Analytics and AI initiatives.
• Design and develop reusable data models in MicroStrategy, leveraging data from systems including MicroStrategy, Dataiku, Tableau, Business Objects, Snowflake, and Netezza.
• Manage and support data ingestion, ETL processes, and analytics workflows to ensure data quality and accuracy.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define business requirements, data domains, and key performance indicators (KPIs) to guide analytics and AI efforts.
• Prepare data models and dashboards for analytics in both current and future states, which may include a mix of MicroStrategy, Snowflake, and PowerBI.
• Provide expertise in BI tools, data modeling, and ETL processes to ensure effective data utilization across the organization.
• Troubleshoot and optimize BI processes to improve system performance and enhance data accessibility for decision-making.
• Stay updated with industry trends and emerging technologies to recommend improvements and best practices.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Analytics, or a related field.
• 8+ years of experience in BI, Analytics, and Data Engineering, with a strong focus on MicroStrategy, ETL, and data modeling.
• Expertise in legacy systems including MicroStrategy, Dataiku, Tableau, Business Objects, Snowflake, and Netezza.
• Hands-on experience in developing ETL processes for large-scale data integration and transformation.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
• Familiarity with PowerBI and its integration with other BI tools and data sources.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with business stakeholders and technical teams.
• Experience in leading projects and mentoring junior team members.
• Must be flexible to travel as needed to client location
