Litigation Associate Attorney

This role presents a fantastic opportunity for an ambitious attorney to engage in sophisticated business litigation matters within a collaborative and energetic team.

Your Role

As a Litigation Associate Attorney, you will:

  • Represent clients in intricate business litigation cases, handling matters from start to finish.
  • Lead discovery efforts, craft and argue motions, and prepare for depositions and trials in various courts.
  • Work closely with partners and clients to formulate effective case strategies aimed at achieving favorable outcomes.
  • Engage in settlement discussions and mediations, showcasing your negotiation and advocacy prowess.
  • Contribute to the ongoing strategic growth of the firm's Litigation Department.

About You

You are a dedicated legal professional with a passion for navigating complex business disputes. Your background demonstrates:

  • A Juris Doctor (JD) from an ABA-accredited law school, with a strong academic performance.
  • Active Bar Admission in Florida, in good standing.
  • 2–4 years of substantial experience in complex business litigation, with a solid foundation in both state and federal court practices.
  • Exceptional skills in legal research, writing, and oral advocacy, with a track record of drafting compelling pleadings, motions, and court filings.
  • Proficiency in managing discovery processes, conducting depositions, and preparing witnesses for pivotal testimony.
  • Experience in court appearances, arguing motions, and engaging in settlement negotiations.
  • Trial preparation experience is highly desirable.
  • A proactive attitude, excellent interpersonal skills, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
