We are looking for a highly motivated Business Development Representative to drive growth in our SaaS sales team. As a BDR, you will be the first point of contact for potential customers, responsible for outreach, prospecting, and lead qualification. Your goal is to identify high-quality opportunities and set up meetings for the sales team.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Identify and engage potential customers through outbound calls, emails, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Qualifying Leads: Conduct discovery calls to understand prospects’ needs, pain points, and readiness to adopt our SaaS solutions.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with Account Executives and Marketing teams to create targeted outreach strategies.
  • CRM Management: Maintain accurate records of prospect interactions and pipeline progress in the CRM (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot).
  • Market Research: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitor offerings, and emerging technologies in the SaaS space.
  • Meeting Setting: Schedule product demos and meetings for senior sales executives, ensuring a smooth transition from lead to opportunity.
  • Follow-Ups: Nurture prospects who are not yet sales-ready and keep them engaged through relevant content and communication.

Required Skills & Experience

  • 1+ years of experience in business development, sales, or lead generation in a SaaS environment.
  • Strong understanding of B2B sales processes and experience with outbound prospecting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships quickly.
  • Proficiency in CRM software (Salesforce, HubSpot, or similar) and sales automation tools.
  • Ability to analyze customer needs and effectively position SaaS solutions to meet those needs.
  • Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced startup or tech-driven environment.
  • Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple prospects simultaneously.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience in selling SaaS products, particularly in [mention relevant industry, e.g., fintech, healthcare, or marketing tech].
  • Familiarity with sales engagement tools like Outreach.io or SalesLoft.
  • Understanding of sales methodologies like MEDDIC, SPIN, or Challenger Sales.
