🎨 Role Description

We are seeking an enthusiastic and well-organised Intern Creator Manager to join our team. This role is crucial in supporting our creative strategy efforts by identifying, communicating with, and managing content creators. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, possess excellent communication skills, and have the ability to juggle multiple tasks efficiently.

Please note: this is a 6-months internship with an opportunity to transition to a full-time job at Welcome Tomorrow at the end of your internship. We are therefore looking for end-of-studies internships with an option to hire at the end.

Your key responsibilities will include:

• Creator sourcing & coordination: working closely with our Creative Strategists, your role will be to understand customer briefs and advertising landscapes to source, engage and retain top content creators across our key markets (Kenya, Nigeria, South Africa). You will be responsible for all interactions with content creators or influencers, from initial sourcing & briefing to permanent relationship development.
• Creative strategy & production: directly in touch with Content Creators, you will implement innovative user-generated content (UGC) strategies for organic & paid campaigns that align with client goals. You will manage daily interactions with content creators to secure new content, perform quality assurance, request revisions, and deliver final content to clients within set timelines.
• Campaign launch & analysis: you'll oversee the execution of our marketing campaigns from ideation to launch, understanding the key elements of performance based on our customers KPIs. You'll be responsive for creating custom reports revealing which content works best and which new creative angles we need to test to further scale performance.
• Content production scaling: you will be responsible for researching, testing and implementing new ways to source and engage Content Creators, in order scale up the production of video content and enhance creative quality for our clients.
• Brand Management: you'll also be a content creator yourself! Based with our team Cape Town, your role will be to ideate, film and publish bespoke content about Welcome Tomorrow, in order to amplify the efforts of our team in Kenya.

🖋 Qualifications

• You're about to graduate: you are currently pursuing or just completed a degree in Marketing, Communications, Media Studies, or a related field.
• You are very organised: you have a strong ability to structure complex tasks, manage multiple projects simultaneously, and meet project deadlines.
• You're a great communicator: you have an excellent written and verbal English, with the ability to clearly articulate ideas and feedback to a various audience (customers & creators) spanning across Nigeria, Kenya and South Africa. You are comfortable speaking in front of a large audience.
• You're a Content Creator: you already have your own social channels and have proven past success on them. You're in tune with creator communities, know how creators work and how to engage with them. You're at ease in front of a camera and love shooting everyday content benefitting our brand.
• You're a social media expert: you are familiar with social media platforms and trends, particularly in the African digital landscape. You are very creative and know how to capitalise on a trend to maximise impact.
• You're attentive to details: you have a meticulous approach to quality assurance and content review processes, to ensure that the content we ship is polished and meets customer requirements.
• You are flexible: you are willing to adapt to changing priorities and work in a fast-paced environment, you may be required to travel within South Africa or to our key international markets.

⭐️ Bonus:

• You have past experience working with Content Creators: you have had the opportunity to engage with content creators, build briefs, monitor quality and measure the performance of content delivery for on or multiple brands.
• You have a basic understanding of Figma: you're able to navigate the tool and willing to progress on it in order to assist with the designing of amazing creatives for our brand and our clients.
• You are familiar with paid media strategies: you have a basic understanding of Google Ads, Meta and Instagram ads and are willing to further learn how these platforms operate. This job is technical 🤓
• You have experience organising & running physical events: we plan to run a couple of events in South Africa gathering our Content Creators, customers and partners. You'll be at the forefront of organising those!
