As a Training & Compliance Specialist, you will play a pivotal role in supporting key quality processes related to new driver onboarding, training effectiveness, compliance monitoring, and structured offboarding. This role ensures that drivers are properly onboarded, receive necessary training, maintain regulatory compliance, and, if necessary, are deactivated through structured offboarding procedures. The Training & Compliance Specialist is a hands-on role, ensuring that daily onboarding, training, and compliance tasks are completed efficiently and effectively.

Responsibilities

Training Delivery & Execution

  • Assist in the execution of structured training programs, ensuring drivers receive all necessary instruction during their activation/onboarding/business as usual period.
  • Deliver interactive training sessions, covering service excellence, safety protocols, compliance, and platform usage.
  • Monitor training participation rates, identifying and resolving bottlenecks in driver engagement.
  • Utilize blended learning techniques (in-person, virtual, video-based) to maximize driver knowledge retention.
  • Track training attendance, performance scores, and feedback surveys to assess effectiveness.

Driver Skill Development & Knowledge Enhancement

  • Ensure drivers fully understand platform functionalities, transfer execution best practices, and customer interaction standards.
  • Conduct assessments and certification programs, verifying driver competency before final approval.
  • Identify drivers who require additional support, providing targeted remedial training.
  • Assist in creating training schedules, ensuring an optimal balance between learning efficiency and driver availability.
  • Provide post-training support and refresher courses, keeping drivers updated with operational changes.

Compliance & Document Verification

  • Assist in ongoing driver compliance checks, ensuring policy violation and regulatory documentation is up to date.
  • Monitor driver adherence to company policies, flagging non-compliance cases to the Quality Supervisor.
  • Help maintain a structured compliance tracking system, ensuring real-time alerts for policy violations.
  • Support audit preparations, ensuring documentation is in order for policy reviews.
  • Assist in the development of compliance training materials, reinforcing best practices and policy obligations for drivers.

Offboarding Execution & Process Adherence (Compliance)

  • Assist in structured offboarding procedures, ensuring smooth deactivation of non-compliant or underperforming drivers.
  • Conduct exit interviews and feedback collection, identifying trends that may help improve retention and reduce involuntary churn.
  • Ensure all offboarding processes align with legal and compliance standards, minimizing operational risks.
  • Track offboarding trends, reporting insights on common causes for driver deactivation to the Quality Supervisor.
  • Help maintain a structured deactivation record, ensuring transparency and fairness in the offboarding process.

Cross-Functional Collaboration & Process Alignment

  • With Onboarding: Ensure smooth transition from recruitment to training completion.
  • With Live Operations: Identify real-time operational challenges and update training modules accordingly.
  • With Destination Success: Align training programs with city growth, driver retention and engagement strategies.
  • With Business Intelligence (BI) & Data Analytics: Optimize training effectiveness based on performance insights and success metrics.
  • With Pricing & Strategy: Ensure cost-effective training execution while maintaining high quality
  • 1–3 years of experience in training, compliance, or operations (mobility/logistics/gig economy preferred).
  • Proven ability to handle high-volume, fast-paced environments.
  • Strong familiarity with compliance and regulatory documentation.
  • Excellent communication, organizational, and coordination skills.
  • Experience using digital learning tools and platforms.
  • Fluent in English; other languages a plus.
