About the Role:

As our Partnerships & Business Development Manager, you will be the main architect of WerQ AI’s external relationships. From forging collaborations with social networks and job boards to securing corporate partnerships for learning and development programs, you’ll identify, negotiate, and nurture opportunities that scale our platform’s capabilities and user base. You’ll work closely with product, marketing, and leadership teams, ensuring that partnerships align with our mission of putting people first in the future of work.

Responsibilities:

  • Strategic Partnership Development: Identify, evaluate, and structure deals with professional networks, educational platforms, HR tech providers, and more.
  • Corporate Relationship Management: Establish and maintain relationships with employers, recruiters, and learning & development teams looking to integrate WerQ AI’s platform into their workflows.
  • Negotiation & Contracting: Lead contract discussions that balance immediate revenue opportunities with long-term strategic value.
  • Market Intelligence: Stay up-to-date on industry trends, competitive offerings, and emerging technologies to uncover new partnership possibilities.
  • Collaboration Across Teams: Work with product and engineering teams to scope integration requirements; liaise with marketing to co-create go-to-market activities for new partners.
  • Revenue Growth & KPI Tracking: Set clear objectives and metrics for each partnership, tracking success against targets and continuously optimizing outcomes.

What You Can Do (Experience & Expertise):

  • Business Development Track Record: Business development, partnerships, or B2B sales (preferably in tech, SaaS, or ed-tech sectors).
  • Strategic Negotiation Skills: Proven success in forging and closing deals that deliver long-term value for both sides.
  • Market & Industry Insight: Familiarity with HR tech, professional networking, or AI-based solutions is highly desirable.
  • Cross-Functional Collaboration: Experience working with product and engineering teams to scope technical integrations and co-launch partnership-driven features.
  • Data-Driven Mindset: Ability to define KPIs, measure ROI, and adapt strategies based on performance metrics.
  • Outstanding Communication Skills: Capable of influencing and presenting to executive leadership, as well as external partners at all levels.

Salary

$130,000 - $155,000
