General Summary Of Duties:

Coordinate conventions and group accounts receivable. Insure group charges are reflected correctly and billed accordingly. 

Role and Responsibilities: (Includes but is not limited to the following)

Coordinate conventions and group accounts receivable.
Maintain correspondence with group to service the customers in an expeditious manner.
Insure the Group Master folios/receivable and advance deposits are in balance.
Insure the group rooms, banquets, food & beverage and incidentals are correctly reflected on the master folios.
Insure the documentation for the billing corresponds with the master billing and balances.
Process daily billing.

Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in order to complete work requirements and communicate with other employees.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language in case of emergency situations and read caution and/or safety notices.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand the English language clearly to ascertain and document important information, to follow written and/or verbal instructions and to provide clear direction/guidance.  Ability to relate to employees, all levels of management and guests/vendors/group representatives.
Ability to effectively deal with internal customers, some of whom will require patience, tact and diplomacy to defuse anger.  Collect accurate information and solve management concerns.
Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing to provide clear direction, instruction and guidance.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English sufficiently to comprehend verbal and written instructions/requests from supervisor, guests and management.
Ability to organize, prioritize work, meet deadlines, work with minimal supervision/multiple interruptions, exercise judgment and adapt instructions/directions from one assignment to another.
Basic mathematical skills necessary to calculate billing charges and reconciliation.
Ability to remain alert throughout the duration of the shift and remain calm during emergency situations.
Sufficient manual dexterity of hand in order to use computer keyboard and calculator.
Ability to operate calculator, personal computer, typewriter, copy machine, telephone, collator and mainframe computer to process documents.
Ability to grasp, bend, lift and/or carry files/computer reports weighing a maximum of 30 lbs. to a height of 3 feet on an intermittent basis.
Ability to walk/stand and work 10% of shift walking a maximum of two miles.
Ability to sit and work 90% of shift.
Ability to access and input information using a moderately complex computer system.
Keep your workstation neat and orderly.
Ability to maintain attendance in conformance with standards.
Ability to maintain a neat, clean and well-groomed appearance.
