Wash Person

Pay rate: $16 / hour - Use our Daily Pay benefit and get access to your pay as you need it.

The smell of fresh linen excites you and being in a fast-paced environment drives you. Your hard work will be noticed by our guests. As a detail-oriented Wash Person at Westgate Resorts, you will be responsible to operate washers’ machines.

As a Wash Person, you will:

• Loads articles into washer and adds specified amount of detergent, soap, or other cleaning agent
• Program proper classification for batch, customer number and weight
• Turns valve to fill washer with water and starts machine that automatically washes and rinses articles
• Assist with separation soiled linens by classification
• Run production reports as needed
• Clean machine area daily
• Comply with all safety standards
• Mixes dyes and bleaches according to formula, and dyes and bleaches specified articles
• Ensure count sheets are completed daily

• Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedural manuals
• Strong time management skills with the ability to multitask and meet deadlines
• Must be able to work in hot, humid conditions near loud, moving machine
• Must be flexible with your schedule and have open availability
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds.
