We are seeking a dynamic and motivated Business Development Representative to join our UK team. This role is central to our growth strategy, focusing on both inbound lead management and outbound lead generation across the UK and European markets.
You will work closely with our sales, marketing, and product teams to build relationships with fleet operators, transport authorities, logistics providers, manufacturers and energy companies. You will play a key role in nurturing relationships, driving business development, and supporting the sales and product development teams.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead Qualification & Management: Ensure incoming leads are promptly addressed, provided with high-quality content, and followed up on to strengthen relationships.
Outbound Lead Generation: Proactively generate new leads through multiple channels to expand the sales pipeline. Initiate conversations via email and cold calls, setting up meetings with potential clients. Communicate products' offerings, key differentiators, and value propositions.
Schedule Meetings and Demos: Coordinate and book meetings and demonstrations for senior sales representatives.
CRM Management: Maintain and manage deals in HubSpot, ensuring accurate tracking of opportunities.
Opportunity Development: Identify and develop new business opportunities.
Sales Support: Assist in preparing presentations and proposals, contributing to sales targets. Support senior sales team members as required.
Market Analysis. Stay up to date on EV charging trends, government incentives, and industry regulations across the UK and Europe
Essential
Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English (additional European languages are a plus).
Energetic self-starter with the ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong multitasking abilities and a generalist approach to sales.
Experience in B2B sales, business development, or lead generation
Experience with CRM system management for lead tracking.
Desirable:
Experience in EV charging, energy, transport, or SaaS industries.
Ability to analyse market trends and competitor insights.
Understanding of UK and European EV regulations, government funding, and industry frameworks.
