About the Client:
Our client is building a cutting-edge SaaS platform designed to revolutionize technical support. Their platform leverages AI-driven automation and analytics to enhance customer support experiences. As they scale, they are looking for a Lead QA Engineer to establish and own the entire QA strategy from the ground up.
This is a long-term, fully remote opportunity where you’ll play a key role in ensuring product quality, setting up best practices, and eventually building out a QA team.

Key Responsibilities:
- Define and implement the overall QA strategy, ensuring alignment with product development goals.
- Establish a scalable QA framework, including automated and manual testing methodologies.
- Develop and maintain test plans, test cases, and test automation suites.
- Select and implement appropriate QA tools, frameworks, and technologies for functional, regression, performance, and security testing.
- Collaborate closely with development, product, and DevOps teams to integrate testing best practices into the development lifecycle.
- Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines with automated testing.
- Identify, document, and track defects while working with engineers to resolve them.
- Establish metrics to measure software quality and provide regular reports on QA effectiveness.
- Plan and hire a high-performing QA team as the company grows.
- 6+ years of experience in software quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
- Proven experience in establishing QA processes, methodologies, and automation frameworks from scratch.
- Strong knowledge of automated testing frameworks (Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, etc.).
- Experience with API testing tools (Postman, RestAssured) and performance testing (JMeter, Gatling, or similar).
- Solid understanding of CI/CD pipelines and integrating automated tests within them.
- Hands-on experience with cloud environments such as AWS, GCP, or Azure.
- Excellent communication skills and the ability to work cross-functionally with development and product teams.
- Experience hiring, mentoring, and leading QA teams is a plus.
