The Role

We have an amazing opportunity for an energetic, detail-oriented, and industrious analyst to solve hard problems and push renewable energy forward. We’re looking for someone who works quickly and efficiently, has an eye for detail, and isn’t afraid of a challenge. Our team is rapidly acquiring commercial customers and developing solar across the country alongside our national network of solar partners, and we need your help! 

Specifically, you’ll work cross-functionally to help our Asset Management team manage the portfolio operations of our commercial-scale solar projects across the country and ensure that we are delivering clean energy and an exceptional customer experience to our real estate partners. The role will include monitoring and analyzing the performance of our operating fleet to ensure optimal energy production and efficiency, supporting the team’s Operations & Maintenance (O&M) efforts, implementing and iterating on QA/QC processes, and more.

About You

• A Strong Foundation  - You have 1–2+ years of managing projects or are a recent graduate with a solid foundation of career experience from a previous internship, part-time, or full-time role. This could be in Asset Management, Project Management, Finance, Accounting, Economics, Solar Development, or anything that provided you with the tools and resources to be comfortable managing projects, digging into spreadsheets, conducting market research, updating databases, thinking analytically, and working cross-functionally.  

• You’re Detail Oriented & Methodical - You’re a high achiever who loves bringing order to chaos. You know that the devil is in the details and you go the extra mile to ensure all your i’s are dotted and t’s are crossed. You believe that documentation and systemization of processes is key. You enjoy thinking critically about increasing efficiencies and taking action to streamline your day-to-day operations. 

• You’re Flexible, a Quick Responder - There’s a lot going on any given day and success in this role will require a high degree of organization, ability to stay on top of changing goals and priorities, and strong project management skills. The problem we’re trying to solve as a company is dynamic and each day brings fresh and exciting challenges. You can react quickly and efficiently when called upon to change or pivot.

• Excellent Written & Oral Communication - You have clear, concise written and verbal communication skills. You articulate the operative points when communicating with internal or external parties, effectively simplify complex information, and enjoy working cross-functionally.

• You’re Eager and Ready to Learn - You are at the beginning of an exciting career and you’re ready to get your feet wet and learn all about how the solar development world works. You can’t wait to learn about solar investments, the commercial solar market, and in-depth diligence practices. You want to get your hands dirty and try new things, all while saving the planet. 

• You Have a Team Ethos - You thrive in a creative, inventive, fast-paced rapid-growth environment, with people who are passionate about their work and mission. You’re not just excited to work cross-functionally, you crave it.

• You Believe That No Problem is Too Hard - In an industry where people are constantly stuck, we find ways to get it done. • Located in Boulder or Denver, CO - Candidates must currently live in, or be willing to relocate to, the Boulder/Denver area.

Salary & Equity

The base salary range for this role is $58,500 - $78,000 per year, plus equity in the form of stock options. Wunder determines the successful candidate's compensation package throughout the interview process based on experience and expertise, and the final compensation package will be discussed with the candidate during the final stages of the interview process.
