Position Overview 

XOPS is seeking a highly skilled Senior Quality Engineer to join our Customer Experience (CX) team. In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the quality of our software solutions by specifically testing customer profiles. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to define, implement, and maintain effective quality assurance processes and collaborate with the QA organization to improve test strategies. Your primary focus will be on testing solutions based on different customer scenarios, ensuring high reliability and precision in customer experience outcomes. 

Key Responsibilities 

  • Develop, execute, and manage comprehensive test strategies and test plans for Customer Profile testing, ensuring that software solutions meet high-quality standards. 
  • Define and implement best practices for qualification/quality process processes and procedures across the team. 
  • Collaborate with development and product teams to identify and resolve quality issues, ensuring customer profiles are accurately represented in testing. 
  • Mentor and guide junior quality engineers, contributing to their growth and skill development within the team. 
  • Identify areas for continuous process improvements and drive those changes. 
  • Stay abreast of industry advancements in testing tools, methodologies, and automation techniques. 
  • Support the testing efforts by ensuring the successful integration of customer profiles in test environments 
  • Work closely with stakeholders to ensure test cases are comprehensive and capture relevant customer scenarios. 
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field. 
  • 12+ years of experience in quality assurance, with a focus on customer-centric testing and developing robust test plans. 
  • Strong understanding of quality assurance methodologies, best practices, and testing frameworks. 
  • Tools Experience: Familiarity with Jira, Cloud (AWS/GCP/Azure), Postman for building test automation. 
  • Nice to Have: AWS Serverless, Lambda, TestRail. 
  • Experience in developing and executing test strategies and test plans tailored to specific customer profiles. 
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on ensuring the product meets the customer’s needs in real-world scenarios. 
  • Proven experience with Agile development methodologies and collaboration with cross-functional teams. 
  • Familiarity with automation testing tools and frameworks, and ability to build automation from scratch. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. 
  • Track record of delivering high-quality software products and ensuring customer satisfaction.
