The Role:

We are seeking a highly motivated and analytical professional to lead portfolio pricing decisions by collaborating with cross-functional teams, including commercial, risk, and capital. The ideal candidate will have a strong strategic mindset, excellent communication skills, and the ability to balance commercial objectives, risk tolerance, and financial outcomes to drive optimal pricing strategies.

• Pricing Strategy Development:
• Lead the development and refinement of portfolio pricing strategies to meet revenue, margin, and risk objectives
• Align pricing decisions with market dynamics, customer behavior, and business goals
• Stakeholder Collaboration:
• Act as the key liaison between commercial, risk, and capital teams to ensure cohesive pricing approaches
• Facilitate regular discussions to balance profitability, competitiveness, and risk appetite in pricing decisions
• Portfolio Analysis and Insights:
• Analyze portfolio performance to identify trends and opportunities for pricing adjustments
• Provide actionable insights to enhance portfolio returns and ensure compliance with capital requirements
• Modeling and Scenario Analysis:
• Build and maintain pricing models to evaluate the impact of pricing changes on portfolio performance and risk
• Conduct scenario analysis to forecast the outcomes of pricing strategies under various economic and market conditions
• Governance and Reporting:
• Establish governance frameworks for pricing decisions, ensuring consistency and alignment with company policies
• Prepare and present pricing performance reports and recommendations to senior management and stakeholders

Essential Skills:

• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with proficiency in pricing and financial modelling
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to influence and align cross-functional teams
• Advanced proficiency in data analysis tools (e.g., Excel, SQL, Python) and familiarity with business intelligence software

Desirable:

• Prior experience in small-medium business financing space, asset-backed securities, embedded finance platforms
• Familiarity with AI/ML tools for pricing optimization
• Comfort with ambiguity
