Ops, Purchasing & Logistics Associate

Zipdev is looking for an Operations, Purchasing & Logistics Associate to join our client, a vibroacoustic therapy company based in San Diego, CA. This is a full-time, position offering a hands-on experience in a fast-paced and dynamic environment. The selected candidate will contribute to enhancing asset value and driving operational excellence across the company.

Responsibilities

• Supplier Management: Identify, evaluate, and onboard international suppliers (mainly China and Mexico). Negotiate terms and build lasting relationships.
• Purchasing & Procurement: Handle the full purchasing cycle, including contract negotiation, order placement, and tracking.
• Logistics Oversight: Manage container shipments and inbound logistics to ensure timely and accurate delivery into our stores.
• Forecasting & Inventory Planning: Analyze sales data and trends to forecast demand and place orders proactively.
• Data Management: Maintain and track orders and inventory using Google Sheets and Excel.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with the operations, marketing, and fulfillment teams to ensure alignment and communication.
• Tech Stack Operations: Use platforms like Monday.com for project management, ShipHero for fulfillment tracking, Slack for internal comms, and Telegram for external marketing collaboration.

Requirements

• 3+ years of experience in logistics, purchasing, or operations roles.
• Strong negotiation and supplier management skills.
• Experience working with international vendors, particularly in China and Mexico.
• Proficiency in Google Sheets, Excel, Microsoft Office, and Google Suite.
• Experience with Monday.com, Slack, Telegram, and ShipHero.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
• High tolerance for ambiguity and change.
• Excellent communicator, detail-oriented, and highly organized.
• Excellent fluency in English (Both written and verbal)
• Currently living in Latin America.

• Work remotely Monday - Friday, 40 hours a week (no weekends)
• Vacation: 10 business days a year
