Chinese Social Media & Growth Marketing Specialist

Job Overview

We are looking for a Chinese Growth Marketing Specialist with a strong understanding and hands-on experience managing Chinese social media platforms, including WeChat, RED (Xiaohongshu), Douyin, and others. This part-time role is ideal for someone who knows how to create, manage, and optimise content, drive engagement, and generate leads from high-net-worth individuals, business owners, and professionals in China interested in relocating to the UK through business, investment, or skilled immigration routes.

Key Responsibilities:

Social Media Strategy & Growth

• Manage and grow our presence on WeChat, RED, Douyin, and other relevant platforms.
• Develop and implement organic and paid marketing campaigns to attract high-intent leads.
• Optimise content and engagement strategies to increase visibility and conversion rates.

Content Creation & Community Engagement

• Create engaging, platform-specific content (posts, videos, infographics) tailored to the Chinese audience.
• Manage WeChat groups, live Q&A sessions, and community-building initiatives to nurture potential leads.
• Engage with audiences in a way that builds trust and brand credibility.

Performance Tracking & Optimisation

• Monitor and analyse campaign performance across platforms.
• Optimise campaigns based on insights to maximise engagement and lead generation.
• Support CRM management (WeChat CRM, HubSpot, Zoho) to ensure personalised lead communication.

• Proven experience managing Chinese social media platforms (WeChat, RED, Douyin, etc.).
• Strong understanding of platform algorithms, engagement strategies, and lead generation techniques.
• Fluent in Mandarin Chinese (written & spoken) and proficient in English.
• Ability to create compelling content that resonates with the target audience.
• Experience with marketing automation tools and lead nurturing is a plus.
