Job Summary:
We are looking for a highly motivated and organized Recruiting Specialist to join our HR team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding candidates while ensuring a positive experience throughout the recruitment process. Additionally, the Recruiting Specialist will play a key role in maintaining staff satisfaction, fostering engagement, and following up with new hires to ensure their success and retention.
Key Responsibilities:
Sourcing Candidates:
Proactively source candidates through a variety of channels, including job boards, social media, and employee referrals.
Build and maintain a talent pool for current and future hiring needs.
Screen resumes and applications to identify qualified candidates based on job requirements.
Utilize advanced sourcing techniques (e.g., LinkedIn Recruiter, Boolean search) to identify top talent.
Interviewing Candidates:
Conduct initial phone screenings to assess candidates' qualifications, experience, and cultural fit.
Coordinate and conduct in-person or virtual interviews with hiring managers and department leads.
Provide candidates with information about the company, job expectations, and benefits during the interview process.
Maintain a positive and engaging candidate experience throughout the interview stages.
Onboarding New Hires:
Manage the onboarding process to ensure new hires have a smooth transition into their roles.
Prepare and distribute offer letters, employment contracts, and other documentation.
Assist with the completion of necessary pre-employment checks (background checks, drug tests, etc.).
Coordinate new hire orientation and ensure all paperwork is completed, including tax forms, direct deposit setup, and benefits enrollment.
Ensure new hires are introduced to the team and have the resources needed to succeed from day one.
Ensuring Staff Satisfaction:
Maintain regular communication with new hires to ensure they are adjusting well to their new role and team.
Address any concerns or issues that arise during the initial employment period.
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding questions about company policies, benefits, and job expectations.
Follow-Up and Retention:
Check in with employees regularly to gauge satisfaction and gather feedback on their experience.
Track retention and turnover rates and proactively work with managers to address any issues that may impact employee retention.
Work with HR and management to implement employee engagement initiatives and improve overall employee experience.
Assist with performance management and help facilitate employee development programs.
Administrative Support:
Keep detailed records of recruitment activities, interview notes, and candidate evaluations.
Track the status of candidates in the recruitment pipeline, ensuring timely communication and feedback.
