Do you have a heart to serve and love being part of a team? Every memorable dining experience at Fairmont Hotels and Resorts begins behind the scenes with our Food & Beverage team’s commitment to safe and efficient operations.  Showcase your leadership strengths and model our service culture as Steward Supervisor, where you will ensure a superior standard for all flatware, tableware and kitchen equipment in support of our Culinary and Banquets teams. 

What you will be doing:

• Direct a shift – AM or PM depending on business demand. Oversee multiple hourly colleagues in various kitchen or event locations.
• Chemical/equipment ordering
• China/glass/silver/equipment maintenance. Ensure all equipment is in working order and report any items in need of repair.
• Scheduling colleagues
• Maintain the sanitation of kitchen equipment and other areas assigned to ensure optimum food safety
• Managing stewarding requirements for banquet events.
• Consistently offer professional, friendly and proactive guest service while supporting colleagues
• Lead and manage the Stewarding team and ensure standards are followed
• Balance operational and colleague needs
• Work closely with F&B Management to anticipate guest needs
• Maintain a clean and safe work environment
• Follow department policies, procedures and service standards
• Other duties as assigned

Your experience and skills include:

• Service oriented with an eye for details
• Ability to work effectively and contribute in a team
• Self-motivated and energetic
• Maintain a clean and neat appearance at all times
• Ability to speak other languages and basic understanding of local languages will be an advantage (Tagalog/Ilocano)
• Valid Driver’s License

Hourly Rate: $29.96 USD

Visa Requirements: Applicants must be legally eligible to work in the United States. The hotel is unable to assist candidates in obtaining U.S. work authorization.
