Hi there, potential colleague! Join us in our mission to become a driver of positive change in the eyewear industry.
As our new Technical Product Owner, you’ll be a key player in helping our teams deliver efficiently and effectively. Your focus will be on ensuring smooth execution by refining workflows, measuring progress, and supporting the team in hitting their goals.
You'll work closely with developers and stakeholders to break down objectives, tackle blockers, and keep everyone aligned. If you’re someone who thrives on collaboration, loves improving processes, and takes pride in delivering great results, we’d love to have you on board.
The position is full-time and available immediately at our headquarters office in Amsterdam. You’ll be working in a team with both on-site and remote colleagues, with the option for a hybrid work arrangement.
Responsibilities:
Lead the planning and execution of development cycles, ensuring clarity of objectives, requirements, and timelines.
Provide the necessary support to developers by removing blockers, clarifying requirements, and ensuring alignment with stakeholders.
Act as a bridge between technical and non-technical teams to ensure a shared understanding of priorities and deliverables.
Ensure delivery against roadmap: Build realistic estimations, and measure team velocity to ensure the team will deliver high-quality features and improvements on schedule.
Translate project goals into well-defined specifications, acceptance criteria, and detailed documentation.
Ensure features meet our quality standards before release, coordinating testing efforts and rollout plans as needed.
Continuously refine development workflows to improve efficiency and team effectiveness.
Provide updates on project status, and ensure transparent communication with stakeholders.
Requirements:
2+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Technical Project Manager, or similar role in fast-paced environments like start-ups or scale-ups. You have a proven ability to keep teams aligned and moving forward amidst competing priorities.
You enjoy collaborating with technical teams, diving into technical discussions, and translating complexity into clarity for stakeholders.
You’re passionate about streamlining workflows, finding inefficiencies, and implementing improvements that make teams more effective and delivery smoother.
You excel at balancing multiple priorities, keeping execution front and center while maintaining high standards for quality and timelines.
You know how to measure progress, track team velocity, and uncover opportunities for improvement through metrics. Familiarity with tools like PostHog and Looker Studio is a bonus, but a data-driven mindset is essential.
