We have a current opening for a Life Sciences Account Director within our North American team.

Must have Account/Sales Management experience in Life Science Localization/Translation Industry?

Main Purpose

Achieve financial and customer satisfaction goals for an assigned portfolio of strategic accounts by leading strategic account planning processes.

Main Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing key customer contacts through team members or self. Create and grow new ones throughout the account to achieve efficient levels of customer intimacy and support business growth and financial objectives (Revenue, Gross Margin).
  • Master the ACOLAD service and solutions portfolio, support team on business case and positioning of complex combinations of services and technologies, through AM driven opportunities or in collaboration with Sales and Solution Management.
  • Act as liaison/facilitator between customers and other company resources to ensure excellence in meeting customer requirements and customer retention.
  • Develop and manage a team of strategic account managers through coaching, training, on the job support; Drive acquisition and/or promotion of talents, and ensure retention.
  • Own and support process compliancy within the team, data quality in systems and adherence to Account Management Guidelines.

Educational Background

  • Bachelor degree in Business Management, Economics, Financial or Marketing

Professional Experience

  • 5-7 years of proven experience in Account Management.
  • Significant experience in the relevant industry.
  • Proven experience in the relevant service/solution.
  • Must be able to create and lead presentations.
  • Excellent Negotiation Skills
  • Must be able to effectively network and build relationship building.
  • Have excellent proposal writing skills.
  • Have strong team management skills.

Acolad offers a comprehensive benefits package. New employees are eligible to receive benefits on the first day of the month after their start date. Highlights of the program include:

In addition to the benefits package, Acolad also offers the following time off:

✨Starting with 15 days of paid time off annually, with ability to move to 28 days within five years of tenure.

✨Nine paid holidays per year.

Salary base range for this position is between $95K to $105K, dependent upon experience and physical location. This position is eligible for variable compensation in addition to the base salary.
