General Manager - SCM

ROLE PURPOSE AND DESCRIPTION

Goal

This position is responsible for any fulfillment operations. He/she will be required to manage and control overall operations (Inbound, Inventory, Outbound and Return process) with more productivity and cost efficiency to exceed with the SLA. Participate in day-to-day operations in a fun yet always ready manner.

Objectives:

Specifically, in this role you will:

• Manage and handle overall including day to day of fulfillment operations strictly on safety policy and company regulation to ensure the operations flow is smoothly and efficiency 
• Experience with warehouse layout, cost/benefit analysis, labor productivity analysis in order to effectively plan and scheduling the operations resources in order to meet and exceed internal and external services levels at all times with productive and cost efficiency
• Lead, motivate team through effective & open communication in order to maximize customer satisfaction and team productivity
• Measure performance, provide a feedback as well as taking proactive steps to ensure the best practices are shared across all departments
• Drives creation of quality initiatives, process change, 5S, Lean initiatives and continuous improvement to enable their functional area exceed the business plan 
• Create a positive and collaborative team environment by setting and regularly reviewing the achievement of team goals
• Ensure compliance to Safety & Security, DG and Company policies and procedures
• Document and track any failures/error including reporting on failure rates, causes, and preventable incidents. 

QUALIFICATIONS

In order to succeed in this role, we are looking for an individual who: Technical Qualifications 

● Degree in Engineering, Operations or related field. 10+ years’ direct experience in Manager role in warehouse operations

● Good in Excel & Good command of English

● Ability to handle changing priorities and use good judgment in stressful situations. 

● Knowledge in Project management & Lean Sigma will be added advantage

● 3+ years management experience, including a salaried workforce, in a warehousing or distribution environment (Preferable B2C) and leadership experience required
