About the role
The Ad Operations Specialist will be responsible for managing and optimizing creative performance, ensuring the accurate and timely execution of ad campaigns, and providing actionable insights based on performance data. This role will involve working closely with the creative, marketing, and data teams to ensure high-quality ad executions and performance reports.
Key Responsibilities:
Creative Performance Reporting:
- Winners (Last 7 Days): Analyze and identify top-performing creatives from the past week to provide insights on what is driving the best performance.
- Creative Fatigue: Monitor creative performance to identify signs of fatigue and recommend refreshing strategies or new creative assets.
- Trends: Identify and report on key trends in creative performance, ensuring that the team is aware of emerging patterns and opportunities.
Campaign and Ad Set Management:
- Create and maintain structured ad campaigns and ad set shells across multiple platforms (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snap).
- Ensure all campaigns are properly organized for ease of reporting and optimization.
Ad Uploading:
- Upload ads and assets to various advertising platforms, ensuring proper file formats and dimensions are followed.
- Ensure that all creative assets are tagged and organized for accurate tracking.
Quality Assurance & Tracking:
- Motion App: Utilize Motion to ensure accurate tracking and reporting of creative performance across all ad platforms.
- TripleWhale: Leverage TripleWhale for enhanced analytics and monitoring of ad performance metrics, providing insights into areas for optimization.
- Ads Manager: Perform thorough quality assurance checks on Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, and Snapchat ads within Ads Manager to ensure proper setup, tracking, and performance.
Collaboration & Communication:
- Work closely with the creative team to ensure assets align with campaign objectives and creative strategy.
- Collaborate with the marketing and data teams to ensure effective execution and analysis of ad campaigns.
- 3+ years of experience in ad operations or a similar role in e-commerce or digital marketing.
- Strong proficiency in Ads Manager (Meta, TikTok, Pinterest, Snap).
- Experience with Motion or similar creative performance tracking tools.
- Familiarity with TripleWhale or other e-commerce analytics platforms.
- Strong understanding of digital advertising best practices, campaign structures, and performance metrics.
- Analytical mindset with a strong ability to interpret and present data insights.
- Highly organized with attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Strong communication skills and ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.
Preferred Skills:
- Familiarity with additional digital ad platforms and tools.
- Experience working in an e-commerce environment or with direct-to-consumer brands.
- Understanding of A/B testing and optimization strategies for creatives
