They are seeking a highly specialized Amazon PPC Specialist to help scale their marketplace presence and drive profitable growth through a focused and strategic advertising approach.
Position Summary
The Amazon PPC Specialist will be responsible for the end-to-end management of our Amazon advertising campaigns, with a specific focus on deep data analysis and market share expansion for targeted keywords. This role demands a true PPC expert who lives and breathes Amazon advertising — not a generalist across Amazon operations. The ideal candidate will have a passion for analyzing large datasets, excellent storytelling skills to translate data into actionable insights, and a proven ability to drive measurable growth through highly targeted campaign strategies.
Key Responsibilities
Campaign Strategy and Management
• Develop, execute, and optimize Amazon Sponsored Ads (Sponsored Products, Sponsored Brands, Sponsored Display) and DSP campaigns.
• Implement keyword-targeting strategies designed to capture and grow market share for specific, high-priority search terms.
• Create detailed campaign structures, manage bid strategies, and execute A/B testing initiatives for continuous improvement.
• Dive deep into campaign performance — beyond surface-level metrics — to refine targeting and positioning.
Data Analysis and Insights
• Analyze campaign and keyword data comprehensively to identify patterns, opportunities, and threats.
• Present clear, insightful, and actionable reports that not only summarize performance but also tell the story behind the data.
• Maintain a disciplined approach to filtering and focusing on critical insights without getting overwhelmed by large data volumes.
• Provide weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reviews, including tactical recommendations.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
• Work closely with marketing, creative, and product teams to align advertising initiatives
with broader business objectives.
• Collaborate on product launch strategies and support lifecycle marketing campaigns with
paid media.
Budget and Bid Management
• Manage advertising budgets to ensure campaigns are efficient, scalable, and meet
aggressive ROAS and TACOS targets.
• Proactively adjust bids and budgets to prioritize high-opportunity keywords and maintain
profitability.
Market and Competitive Research
• Stay abreast of Amazon algorithm changes, advertising innovations, and competitive landscape shifts.
• Conduct detailed competitive analyses focused on keyword positioning, share of voice, and ad strategy evolution.
Qualifications
• 3+ years of dedicated Amazon Advertising experience (Seller Central and/or Vendor
Central).
• Deep hands-on experience with Amazon Ads Console, Helium 10, Jungle Scout, or
similar analytics and PPC tools.
• Proven ability to build and scale keyword-focused advertising strategies.
• Exceptional presentation skills: ability to synthesize complex data into compelling insights for internal stakeholders.
• Strong analytical skills with advanced proficiency in Excel or Google Sheets (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, complex data manipulation).
• In-depth understanding of key Amazon PPC metrics (ACOS, TACOS, CTR, CPC, CVR, etc.).
• Must love PPC: this role is for someone passionate about paid advertising, who thrives on optimization, data analysis, and continuous campaign refinement.
• Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple product lines and priorities simultaneously.
Preferred Qualifications
• Amazon Ads Certification(s).
• Experience managing campaigns across multiple marketplaces (e.g., Amazon US, Canada, UK, Europe).
• Background in consumer goods, sports equipment, or a related industry.
