As a Business Development Manager at Activate Talent, your primary responsibility is to identify and build relationships with businesses and organizations that require temporary staffing services. Through proactive outreach, networking, and delivering compelling sales presentations, you will act as the face of Activate Talent in the marketplace. This role requires a blend of problem-solving, initiative, and sound judgment to drive new business opportunities, maintain client relationships, and ensure mutual success for clients and Activate Talent.
You will collaborate with internal recruiting teams to match top talent with client needs, ensuring successful project completion and long-term partnerships. The role is goal-oriented, relationship-driven, and designed for individuals who thrive in fast-paced, competitive environments.
Responsibilities:
Prospecting and Lead Generation:
- Research and identify potential clients using internet resources, referrals, and networking platforms such as LinkedIn.
- Conduct a strategic client prospecting process using diverse methods—cold calling, email campaigns, social media, networking, and creative approaches—to engage potential business partners and drive sales, anything within the scope of your imagination!
- Build and maintain a pipeline of qualified leads to meet and exceed sales targets.
Client Relationship Management:
- Act as the primary point of contact for clients throughout the job order process.
- Build and nurture strong, long-lasting relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Organize and participate in client engagement activities, including dinners, events, and networking opportunities.
Sales Strategy and Execution:
- Develop and implement customized sales strategies to convert leads into active clients.
- Negotiate and close deals that align with Activate Talent’s goals and client needs.
- Collaborate with internal teams to deliver tailored solutions and ensure client satisfaction.
Internal Collaboration:
- Partner with the recruiting team to identify and coach top candidates for client placements.
- Act as an advocate for clients internally, ensuring their needs are met effectively.
- Provide market insights and feedback to improve service offerings and competitive positioning.
Performance Monitoring:
- Set, track, and achieve personal and team sales targets.
- Use CRM tools to document interactions, analyze trends, and report on sales performance.
- C1 English level, with excellent verbal and written communication skills (Must Have)
- 3+ Years of experience as a Business Development Manager or similar role. (Must Have)
- Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office Suite. (Must Have)
- Experience with LinkedIn and other networking tools for client prospecting. (Must Have)
- Background in sales within staffing, recruitment services, or RPO companies.(Nice to have)
- Strong understanding of sales metrics and data-driven decision-making.
