We’re seeking talented individuals with a diverse range of skills to join our consultant roster for current and upcoming client projects. We’re particularly interested in professionals with expertise in areas such as data governance, data management, data quality, business intelligence, data analysis, and compliance. *
As a Senior Data Governance Specialist Consultant for AG Consulting Partners, a typical day might include the following:
- Designing and implementing data governance frameworks to establish comprehensive strategies, policies, and procedures that manage data quality, security, and compliance throughout the data lifecycle
- Defining and enforcing data quality standards by establishing metrics to monitor and audit data systems, ensuring accuracy, consistency, and reliability across the organization
- Implementing security and compliance measures to safeguard data and ensure adherence to relevant data privacy laws and regulations (e.g., GDPR, CCPA) in collaboration with legal and IT teams
- Collaborating with stakeholders, including data owners and stewards, to align data governance practices with business objectives and facilitate issue resolution
- Delivering training programs to educate employees on data governance policies, procedures, and best practices, fostering a culture of data stewardship
- Monitoring and reporting on governance initiatives by evaluating their effectiveness and preparing dashboards and reports to communicate progress and areas for improvement to senior management

You have:
- Proven experience (7+ years) in data governance, data management, or a related role, with a track record of implementing successful data governance initiatives.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Ethics, or related field (Master's or PhD preferred).
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to assess complex ethical issues and propose pragmatic solutions.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to effectively engage with diverse stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Strong understanding of data governance principles, data quality management, and data privacy regulations.
- Proficiency in data governance tools (e.g., Collibra, Informatica) and data management software.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills. Interview Guy
- Ability to travel to the Seattle campus at least three days a week.
You might also have:
- Relevant certifications such as Certified Data Management Professional (CDMP) or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP)
- Experience in the technology or transportation industry
- Familiarity with big data platforms and tools

The compensation for this position is tailored to reflect your unique skill set, relevant experience, and the current dynamics of the job market. We strive to ensure that our compensation package is competitive and fair, taking into account various factors to provide a rewarding opportunity for our team members.
The annual salary range for this role is: 120,000 - 160,000 in addition to our comprehensive benefits package.
