Overview: (Key Personnel Proposal Opportunity)

Agile Defense is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Project Analyst IV to support a critical Department of Justice program aimed at dismantling high-level criminal networks and disrupting the financial infrastructure that sustains them. Working alongside law enforcement, intelligence, and program management personnel, the Project Analyst IV will turn raw data into compelling insights, visuals, and reports that drive mission-critical decisions.


This role offers the opportunity to engage in complex data analytics, case tracking, performance measurement, and presentation design that supports strategic operations, high-level briefings, and policy development. The analyst will work on initiatives that span criminal enforcement outcomes, financial investigations, geospatial reporting, and emerging national security threats.


Projects may span a wide range of task areas, including intelligence support, program performance analysis, operational tracking, financial data analytics, and reporting across OCDETF Strike Forces, Fusion Center operations, and Executive Office initiatives.

Responsibilities/Duties:
  • Capture, track, and report on key data related to criminal enforcement activity, including prosecutions, convictions, sentences, asset seizures, and drug supply disruptions.
  • Design and manage data collection tools and reporting mechanisms to streamline performance tracking.
  • Convert raw data into databases, spreadsheets, dashboards, charts, and executive-level visualizations to support OCDETF operations and planning.
  • Conduct research, evaluations, and special studies to assess program performance and inform leadership decision-making.
  • Analyze federal, state, and local crime and caseload statistics using statistical and analytical tools such as Excel, Access, SPSS, or SAS.
  • Prepare and deliver compelling PowerPoint presentations, briefing materials, and other visual reports for senior officials and interagency stakeholders.
  • Support the development of recurring reports (e.g., quarterly stats, end-of-year summaries, AGOCC reports) and ad hoc products aligned with program objectives.
  • Collaborate with project managers, analysts, and federal partners to provide real-time data and insights to drive field operations and policy development.


Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor’s degree and 8 years of related experience, or Master’s degree and 6 years of experience.
  • Demonstrated expertise in data analysis, research, and evaluation methods.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and experience with databases and visualization tools.
  • Familiarity with statistical analysis and tools such as SPSS, SAS, Microsoft Access, or similar.
  • Strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Ability to clearly interpret and convey complex data to diverse audiences.
  • Proven ability to plan and organize complex work and meet tight deadlines.
  • Comfortable working across multiple organizational levels, including with law enforcement and government officials.


Preferred Qualifications:
  • Prior experience supporting law enforcement, intelligence, or national security programs.
  • Familiarity with OCDETF operations, the Compass database or DOJ Management Information Systems.
  • Experience with geospatial analysis or data visualization tools (e.g., ArcGIS, Tableau).
  • Ability to synthesize and visually present findings for strategic and operational briefings.
