About the Role
We’re looking for an operator-minded problem-solver who can analyze complex datasets, develop operational processes using those analyses, and implement them while managing cross-departmental stakeholders.
The Driver Ops Business Analyst will focus on our driver base, which is a critical element of our time-critical operation and our largest cost bucket; this means the initiatives you’re driving forward are vital to our service levels as well as our profitability. This role requires a hands-on builder who can swiftly determine which levers will be most impactful, develop end-to-end operational processes around those levers, and ultimately work with the Driver Ops team and other departments to implement them.
The ideal candidate has a knack for and is excited by analytics, has a proven track record of building processes, and a strong understanding of business motions to expand margin. This is a critical role that blends analyst and operator, ensuring Airspace is providing high-level service at business-conscious costs.
Key Responsibilities
- Aggregate and analyze various data sources, synthesize and deliver recommendations to the Driver Operations Leader and Chief Operating Officer and ultimately implement those recommendations
- Collaborate with Operations, Product, and Engineering to execute strategic priorities
- Craft & present high-quality presentations to C-suite on the most critical priorities
- Improve the supply marketplace to enable Airspace to optimize our driver coverage, which ensures the transparent, on-time customer experience that defines Airspace
What We’re Looking For
- 2+ years of consulting, IB, revops/bizops/data science in big tech, or general operating experience at a high-growth start up
- Ability to operate autonomously, make confident and data-driven decisions, and own projects from outset through completion
- You’re used to a fast-paced environment and are excited by high-impact projects
- Strong executive presence, as this role will regularly interface with Executive Leadership Team
- Strong business acumen & analytical skills, as problem solving and data analysis will be key to success in the role (proficiency in Excel required, SQL & Python are big pluses)
- Experience with marketplace businesses, logistics industry, or the mobility space are pluses

Compensation:
- $85K
- Competitive salary based on experience (open to discussing based on qualifications)
