Northern Navajo Medical Center is seeking two (2) qualified Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Registered Nurses to provide specialized nursing care to critically ill patients. Nurses will deliver high-quality patient care, following evidence-based practices and hospital policies, in collaboration with an interdisciplinary medical team
Key Responsibilities:
Provide comprehensive critical care nursing services to ICU patients, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of patient care.
Administer medications, treatments, and advanced life support procedures as required.
Monitor patient vital signs, respond to emergencies, and provide appropriate interventions.
Document patient assessments, care plans, progress notes, and medical histories accurately in electronic medical records.
Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient care.
Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatments, and discharge planning.
Maintain compliance with all hospital policies, standards, and regulatory requirements.
Utilize infection control and safety measures to ensure a secure patient environment.
Required Qualifications:
Licensure: Active, unrestricted Registered Nurse (RN) license in any U.S. state.
Certifications: Must possess and submit copies of the following valid certifications:
Basic Life Support (BLS)
Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS)
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS)
Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of recent ICU nursing experience, preferably in a hospital setting.
Education: Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Nursing (ASN/BSN) from an accredited nursing program.
Additional Requirements:
Must be a United States Citizen and possess the ability to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.
Ability to work flexible shifts, including nights, weekends, and holidays.
