Dispatch Assistant/ Customer Service

• Monitor driver’s adherence to schedules

• Create, distribute and process shipment paperwork for drivers
• Administrative functions supporting Al Warren Oil operations
• Assist Dispatch with data management in a computer system(s)

• Assist Dispatch with equipment utilization
• Relationship building with drivers and customers
• When required, assume the duties of the Al Warren Oil Dispatcher (coverage for sick days, vacation, etc.)
• Assign drivers to work duties as specified by the customer and in compliance with DOT regulations
• Dispatch drivers through a computer system, telephone, and in-person on a timely basis

• Be able to work independently and manage others

Billing

• Verify all applicable charges provided by the customer and driver paperwork

• Create invoices based on applicable contracts and paperwork
• Investigate billing disputes

Customer Service

• Via Phone, e-Mail, EDI – accept or decline orders based on capacity
• Troubleshoot issues regarding pickup or drop-off Products

• Update customers with load information, detention notifications, etc.
• Verify daily deliveries with customers
