Job Description

Grow your Safety career as an Office Assistant in the Regional Safety department of ALDI Stores, based in Stapylton. This is a 12-month contract position.

Join a rewarding role where you are a critical part of a high-preforming team, providing support to a collaborative Safety and Injury Management team.

  • Provide administrative support to the Safety team in a professional and efficient manner.
  • Act as a first point of contact, managing group inbox, calls, and correspondence, and maintaining clear lines of communication with internal and external stakeholders.
  • Assist with report preparation using SolvInjury, invoicing, lodging claims, and other administrative tasks, demonstrating a high level of attention to detail.
  • Support with accurate data entry within WHS portals and Payroll systems.
  • Maintaining smooth running of meetings though setting up rooms and minute taking.
  • Collaborate with the wider Safety team, contributing to a positive and supportive work atmosphere.

Qualifications

  • A genuine interest in workplace safety and Injury management / prevention.
  • Some knowledge of NSW and QLD WHS and workers compensation legislation. 
  • Previous experience working in a fast-paced administrative environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and be comfortable learning new platforms for various administrative tasks including extracting reports.
  • Strong collaboration and interpersonal skills, including the ability to work effectively with the Safety team and wider internal stakeholders.
  • Experience in data entry and dataset management is favourable.

Remuneration

  • Transparent tiered salary range of $76,800 - $84,300 including Superannuation.
