A bit about the role:

We're seeking a tech-savvy IT Support specialist to join our team and provide technology operations support across the organization. This role is pivotal in supporting our internal team with day-to-day technology needs and ensuring smooth operations.

This position is flexible and is full-time.

More about the IT Support Specialist role:

As the IT Support Specialist, your specific responsibilities include:

Technology Support

·         Be the first point of contact for our team members when they experience issues with their technology

·         Monitor and resolve internal technology tickets submitted by the team, escalating to our Managed IT provider as needed

·         Work with our Managed IT provider to support our team on the technology side

·         Research technology-related questions the team may have and assist with finding solutions

System Administration

·         Set up new clients and assign access to our servicing team

·         Assist with setting up new team members and train them on the software we use internally

·         Submit new user and termination requests to our IT provider

·         Assist with granting and removing access to different software our team uses with clients

·         Help set up workflows and tasks in our CRM to support our daily work

Equipment Management

·         Coordinate laptop and account setup for new team members

·         Manage hardware inventory (laptops, monitors, mice, etc.) and help procure as needed

·         Track software licenses and assist with purchasing when upgrades are due

·         Ensure all hardware is operating on the most current software version with up-to-date security patches

·         Set up and run technology for office events

Training & Communication

·         Track monthly training completion and send reminders

·         Establish, deploy, and track monthly cyber security trainings

·         Prepare quarterly brief training sessions to improve user proficiency

·         Send weekly tech tips/tricks to the team

Qualifications for the IT Support Specialist Role:

·         2-3 years' experience working in an office setting

·         Associates or Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field preferred; will consider applicants with equivalent relevant experience

·         Tech-savvy with the drive to find solutions

·         Experience with SharePoint/OneDrive/Teams, HubSpot CRM, and QuickBooks preferred, but training available

·         Must have the ability to collaborate effectively with diverse personalities

·         Proven ability to stay organized while seeing a project to completion

·         Self-starter with a desire to learn and grow

·         Experience interacting with various levels of individuals

Salary and Benefits

  • Salary: $50,000 - $60,000
  • Annual Bonus: Up to 5% of salary
