Fleet Integration Programs Specialist

Summary

The Fleet Integration Programs Specialist develops and maintains the plans needed to accurately forecast future scheduled maintenance activities for the Allegiant Air aircraft fleet and, specifically, newly acquired aircraft. This includes, but is not limited to, creating aircraft maintenance program bridging reports and preparation of induction work orders for heavy maintenance aircraft visits including C Checks, S Checks, and Modifications. The Specialist develops and implements key performance metrics to measure heavy check vendor performance.


The Fleet Integration Programs Specialist interacts with Operations departments, Supply Chain, Finance, Aircraft Records, Engineering, Fleet Planning Team, and outside Maintenance Vendors.

Minimum Requirements

Combination of Education and Experience will be considered. Must be authorized to work in the US as defined by the Immigration Act of 1986. Must pass a Criminal Background Check.

Education: High School Diploma/GED

Certification:  Yes

Certification Details: Airframe & Powerplant Certification preferred.

Years of Experience: Minimum five (5) years of experience in an Airline or MRO maintenance planning environment.


Valid/Unexpired Passport Book: Yes

Valid/Unexpired Driver's License: No


•Previous airline or MRO maintenance and planning background.

•Program management experience or the equivalent.

•Proficiency with Microsoft Office products including Excel, PowerPoint, and Project.

•Ability to travel and make onsite visits to MRO facilities.

•Knowledge of and ability to understand and research AD's IPC's, Aircraft Maintenance Manuals,

•Service Bulletins, Standard Practice Manuals, etc.

•Knowledge of and ability to research and audit aircraft records and maintenance check packages.

•Ability to locate, understand and extract pertinent information from eMRO/TRAX.

•Ability to interface with multiple airframe Maintenance, Repair & Overhaul (MRO) facilities and track maintenance check progress/status.

•Excellent skills related to Finance or Data Analytics to manipulate, present and analyze data to evaluate program effectiveness.

•Excellent oral and written communication skills.

•Previous experience working with aircraft maintenance programs in eMRO/TRAX.


Preferred Requirements

•Associate's degree or higher.

•Airframe & Powerplant Certification.


Job Duties

•Develop and maintain a forward looking five year long-range induction maintenance plan for scheduled maintenance visits.

•Perform and review aircraft bridging to ensure induction aircraft are FAA compliant and meet Allegiant maintenance standards per the GMM and MTLSM.

•Monitor and track the progress and performance of the induction maintenance plan, identify problem areas, and initiate recommendations for corrective actions.

•Conduct planning meetings for scheduled induction aircraft and facilitate communications and activities with all maintenance departments and maintenance vendors.

•Prepare post check review meetings and develop vendor scorecards to track vendor performance.

•Identify differences between previous operator maintenance program and Allegiant maintenance program.

•Notify Maintenance Programs group of any changes to existing Allegiant MTLS and MCM as needed.

•Submit Manual Change Request forms that support changes to the maintenance program or individual task cards to ensure identified MTLSM and MCM differences are addressed.

•Provide required information to Build work orders for aircraft inductions and other special projects and accomplish review of work order once created.

•Update Allegiant Information System (AIS) entries with previous operator maintenance program information.

•Develop, implement and maintain key performance metrics to measure heavy check vendor performance.

•Model Allegiant’s customer service standards in personal actions and when providing direction.

•Other duties as assigned by the Manager of Fleet Integration.

Office - While performing the duties of this job, the Team Member is regularly required to stand, sit, talk, hear, see, reach, stoop, kneel, and use hands and fingers to operate a computer, key board, printer, and phone. May be required to lift, push, pull, or carry up to 20 lbs. May be required to work various shifts/days in a 24-hour situation. Regular attendance is a requirement of the role. Exposure to moderate noise (i.e. business office with computers, phones, printers, and foot traffic), temperature and light fluctuations. Ability to work in a confined area as well as the ability to sit at a computer terminal for an extended period of time. Some travel may be a requirement of the role.
