Job Description:
Hype Tier is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Public Relations Assistant to support our communications team. This position plays a key role in helping manage public messaging, prepare media materials, and maintain strong relationships with press contacts. You will work closely with PR specialists and account managers to ensure the timely and professional execution of all public relations activities.
Responsibilities:
Assist in drafting press releases, media advisories, and client communications
Support the coordination of public relations campaigns and outreach efforts
Maintain and update media lists and contact databases
Monitor media coverage and prepare reports and summaries
Coordinate logistics for press events, interviews, and promotional appearances
Research industry trends and competitor activity to support strategic planning
Assist in crisis communication and reputation management tasks as needed
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in Public Relations, Communications, Journalism, or a related field
1–2 years of relevant experience in public relations or corporate communications
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
Professional demeanor and ability to interact with media and clients
