Temporary Talent Acquisition Recruiter

*This is a temporary role (up to 3 months duration). Hours may vary week to week (up to 40 hours per week), but initial schedule will be 32 hours per week (Monday-Thursday).

We’re looking for a results-driven and versatile Temporary Talent Acquisition Recruiter to help us fill key openings with speed and precision. This role is perfect for someone who is motivated by hitting hiring goals.


You will work closely with our Senior Talent Acquisition Lead to support recruiting initiatives across the enterprise. The Temporary Talent Acquisition Recruiter acts as a strategic advisor to Altarum enterprise leaders, delivering an outstanding recruitment experience for both internal and external candidates. By encouraging long-term relationships and evaluating candidates’ skills, potential, and organization alignment, the Temporary Talent Acquisition Recruiter drives high-quality hiring outcomes. 


Responsibilities
  • A-Z recruitment process, including intake meetings, sourcing strategies, candidate outreach, screening, interviewing, and communicating qualified talent to hiring leaders. 
  • Negotiate offers and facilitate the hiring and onboarding process to ensure a seamless candidate experience. 
  • Develop a deep understanding of each team’s strategic goals through continuous engagement and collaboration. 
  • Proactively network with industry experts in public health and professional associations to build a pipeline of passive talent. 
  • Maintain clear and consistent communication with all collaborators throughout the recruitment process. 
  • Build and sustain a steady pipeline of candidates hard-to-fill roles. 
  • Extend job offers in alignment with compensation guidelines and hiring leader direction, leading all aspects of the offer and negotiation process. 
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date candidate records in our Applicant Tracking System (Lever) and ensure all recruiting activities comply with Altarum’s internal policies and OFCCP and industry standards. 
  • Other Talent Aquisition projects and duties as assigned.


Qualifications
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
  • Hustle mentality with 7+ years of work experience in full-cycle recruiting and sourcing in a fast-paced environment (healthcare, public health and government contracting experience a plus).  
  • Applicant Tracking System/TRM experience (experience with Lever TRM a plus).  
  • Must have a relentless drive to pursue new candidates, foster relationships and fill positions quickly with top talent.   
  • Demonstrable ability to handle confidential and sensitive information with discretion. 
  • Strong relationship-building skills with key customers and decision-makers. 
  • Adaptability in adjusting recruitment priorities based on evolving business needs. 
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with a focus on clarity and engagement. 
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office and SharePoint  
  • Ability to use discretion and work in a confidential environment. 
  • Attention to detail. 
  • Strong written and verbal communication. 
  • Ability to prioritize tasks. 
  • Problem solving skills. 
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to work collaboratively with employees at all levels. 
  • Knowledge of labor laws, HR practices and regulations is a plus.  


Logistical Requirements
  • At this time, we will only accept candidates who are presently eligible to work in the United States and will not require sponsorship.
  • Our organization requires that all work, for the duration of your employment, must be completed in the continental U.S. unless required by contract.
  • If you are local to our offices in Arlington, Silver Spring, Novi, or Portland this role will be hybrid (in office on Wednesdays - collaboration days).
  • Must be able to work during eastern time unless approved by your manager.
  • Employees working remotely must have a dedicated, ergonomically appropriate workspace free from distractions with a mobile device that allows for productive and efficient conduct of business.


$48.18 - $50 an hour
At Altarum, we carefully consider a wide range of compensation factors and rely on market indicators to get it right. Individual compensation packages are based on numerous factors unique to each candidate, including skill set, experience, qualifications, and other job-related reasons. This salary range is not a guarantee of compensation, as the final offer amount will vary based on these factors.
