We are seeking a motivated and dynamic Network Sales Associate to join our sales team. This junior-level role is ideal for candidates with 2-5 years of experience in network sales who are passionate about building relationships and driving growth. The Network Sales Associate will focus on identifying customer needs, presenting tailored solutions, and supporting the sales lifecycle in the Washington, D.C., Maryland, and Northern Virginia regions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Sales Development:
- Identify and target potential customers within government and enterprise sectors.
- Conduct research to understand customer needs, pain points, and decision-making processes.
- Generate leads through cold calls, networking, and attending industry events.
- Customer Engagement:
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with existing and prospective clients.
- Present AOC Connect’s fiber network solutions and services in a clear and compelling manner.
- Assist in creating tailored proposals and quotations to meet client requirements.
- Sales Lifecycle Support:
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure timely delivery of solutions and services.
- Track sales activities, maintain accurate records in CRM systems, and prepare regular reports.
- Support contract negotiations and closing activities as needed.
- Market Awareness:
- Stay informed about industry trends, competitors, and emerging technologies.
- Provide feedback to the sales and marketing teams to refine strategies and offerings.
- Bachelor’s degree in business, telecommunications, or a related field preferred.
- 2-5 years of experience in network sales or a related role.
- Familiarity with fiber optic networks, telecommunications services, or IT solutions is a plus.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proven ability to build relationships and identify customer needs.
- Self-motivated, goal-oriented, and able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and CRM software.
- Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel within the designated region.
