The role

ApprovalMax is an innovative cloud approval workflow system that enables spend control and optimisation for organisations of all sizes. We are hiring a Lead Development Specialist to help us nurture prospects into trialists in our Accountants and Bookkeepers (‘AB’) Channel.

Who you are:

  • You are a driven and enthusiastic individual who enjoys selling B2B SaaS solutions and speaking to prospects over the phone and email. 

  • As Lead Development Specialist, you will be challenged with driving substantial growth of our product in the Americas region.

  • You will exceed your targets by leveraging key messages to improve our conversion rates from lead to paid for the AB channel. 

  • You will be responsible for all inbound traffic of leads on your territory, as well as outbound prospecting to target leads to boost revenues.

  • Key to your success in the role will be delivery against monthly, quarterly and annual targets with a strong focus on accurate forecasting and pipeline management.

  • As Lead Development Specialist you will be supported by our Sales and Marketing teams in pursuit of your overarching goal to get leads to take out trials of our software. 

 

Responsibilities:

  • Handle all inbound leads for the AB channel in AMER. 

  • Leverage the latest tactics and tech to boost conversion rates from Lead to Trial. 

  • Initiate telephone, email, LinkedIn, Zoom contact with prospects.

  • Research potential customers and identify relevant prospects for outbound prospecting.

  • Be able to run discovery calls and product walkthroughs with prospects by yourself. 

  • Ensure and maintain accurate CRM data to allow for opportunity management and reporting.

  • Drive revenue and contribute to the continued growth of ApprovalMax through consistently achieving individual and team quotas.

  • Maintain and promote a successful and positive work environment.

  • Stay abreast of current industry trends, competitors, and current/new company products and services.

  • Represent the company at various offline events, approximately 1-2 times per quarter. 

  • Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

Requirements:

  • Fully fluent in English with the right to work and reside in Canada.

  • The ability to travel to the US is required.

  • 2+ years’ experience and proven track record of accomplishment in selling IT solutions, preferably B2B SaaS, would be nice but is not essential for this role. 

  • Experience in selling to Accountants and Bookkeepers is preferred, but not required. 

  • Great oral and written presentation skills.
