Join Aprio's Business Solutions team and you will help clients maximize their opportunities.  Aprio is a progressive, fast-growing firm looking for a Senior Accounting Associate to join their dynamic team.

Individuals at this level should have a fundamental understanding of accounts payable and bookkeeping. Seniors will be responsible for higher level preparation and review of daily work. Senior Accounting Associates will receive guidance from designated Manager and Team Leaders.

Business Solutions is a fast-paced team that handles daily client financials, including cash management, deposit verification and sales reporting. We handle Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable and cash flow daily for clients. Business Solutions is a great introduction to accounting for anyone willing to grow in the public accounting space.

• Cash monitoring of daily deposits
• Review accounts payable and G/L entries and coding
• Review and submit month end bank reconciliations
• Train new staff
• Assist with special projects as needed
• Provide backup when needed
• Contact vendors
• Prepare 1099s

• 2‐3 years of accounts payable and/or bookkeeping experience
• Working knowledge of general ledger and bill pay software
• Experience with double entry bookkeeping encouraged
• Strong attention to detail
• Ability to work well in a team environment
• Ability to be flexible
• Ability to handle more than one project / task at a time
• Ability to learn different software and understand how they work and improve the firm in total
• Ability to think critically
• Proficient with the Microsoft Suite of products – Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Teams, etc.
• Experience in Franchise/Restaurant industry is a plus
