Argo Group is currently seeking a Producer Management Coordinator to help support the onboarding, growth and development of our distribution relationships.  

The coordinator will report directly to the SVP of Marketing, Communications & Producer Management, but will work closely with all members of the marketing team facilitating new producer appointments, opening offices in the system, incentive agreements, maintaining updates and developing reports on producer data in SalesForce.com, and monitoring the marketing mailboxes.  

The ideal candidate should feel comfortable working with a high-performing, high-energy team. The work environment is fun, but fast paced. To be successful in this role, the candidate must have a keen eye for detail. As with all members of the team, the candidate should demonstrate a sales orientation, including a desire to win, solid project management skills, analytical strength, strong customer service and problem-solving abilities.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:

  • Project manage the new appointment onboarding process for all new producers.
  • Facilitate the due diligence, contracting and onboarding process for new producer appointments, including coordination with finance, legal, operations and marketing.
  • Lead the coordination and payment of annual broker incentive agreements.
  • Maintain key producer data including contact information, authority, commissions, sales agreements and underwriting assignments in database platforms, including Microsoft Access and Salesforce.com.
  • Using templated agreements, create and update customer contracts related to changes in authorization for multiple business units.
  • Communicate contractual updates to senior management of client relationships.
  • Create adhoc reporting of client claims or production as needed.

Qualifications

  • Education in Marketing, Business or related field.
  • 3-5 years in data, analytic administrative responsibilities – insurance industry experience is a plus.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Access and Word.
  • Salesforce.com experience a plus; however, comfort learning and embracing new technology is a must.
  • Strong organization and communications skills.
  • Able to handle a continually diverse workload and willingness to learn new aspects of an evolving role.
  • Ability to interact and work collaboratively and communicating with colleagues and management at various levels within an organization.
  • Proactive work style with an ability to work independently and in a team environment.
