Description:
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior content Operations Specialist to oversee the full content lifecycle for our Video on Demand (VOD) platform. This role includes supervising a team of Operations Specialists responsible for content delivery, presentation, and data-driven optimization. As a key leader, you will drive strategies for localization, personalization, and quality assurance while ensuring an engaging user experience across all regions.
Key Responsibilities:
Team supervision:
- Lead, mentor, and manage a team of Operations Specialists to ensure efficient content operations.
- Delegate tasks, track progress, and provide constructive feedback to optimize team performance.
- Create a collaborative and results-driven work environment focused on continuous improvement.

Content Management & Delivery:
- Oversee the receipt of acquired and produced content, ensuring it meets all required specifications.
- Ensure the team verifies content quality, format compliance, and metadata accuracy.
- Supervise the organization and uploading of new content to the CMS.
- Manage the development and execution of release plans for new content.
Localization & Personalization:
- Adapt content presentation to meet regional and country-specific preferences.
- Collaborate with internal teams to localize metadata, visuals, and overall user experience for targeted audiences.
Content Presentation & Engagement
- Design and implement content presentation strategies based on user analytics and engagement data.
- Oversee frequent updates to content displays to ensure users consistently discover new and relevant content.
- Work with the team to make data-driven decisions for improving content visibility and user interaction.
Quality Assurance
- Conduct regular audits to ensure all content meets platform standards.
- Identify and resolve inconsistencies in video assets, metadata, and overall presentation.
Collaboration
- Liaise with content providers to ensure timely delivery and compliance with platform guidelines.
- Partner with technical teams to enhance CMS functionality and streamline content workflows.
Data-Driven Insights & Reporting
- Monitor engagement reports to assess content performance and inform strategy adjustments.
- Guide the team in creating weekly and monthly reports on operations and engagement data.
- Provide actionable insights to improve content operations and user satisfaction.
Skills & Competencies
- Strong leadership skills with experience managing and mentoring teams.
- Proficiency in CMS platforms and digital content workflows.
- Data-driven mindset with the ability to analyze engagement reports and develop actionable strategies.
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to multitask and prioritize effectively.
- Outstanding communication skills, with fluency in English (Arabic is a plus).
- Basic knowledge of video formats, encoding, and metadata structures.
- Bachelor’s degree in Media, Communications, or a related field.
- 4+ years of experience in content operations, digital content management, or VOD platforms, with at least 2 years in a leadership role.
