Associated Veterinary Partners (AVP) is seeking a Veterinary Sourcing Specialist to join our dynamic talent acquisition team. In this role, you will focus on sourcing and recruiting talented veterinarians (DVMs) to join our growing network of veterinary hospitals across the United States.

Responsibilities

• Source Candidates: Generate leads through passive outreach, cold calling, and online platforms.
• Screen Resumes: Evaluate candidates for qualifications and cultural fit.
• Pipeline Management: Build and maintain a robust candidate pipeline for current and future needs.
• Communication: Serve as a first point of contact for candidates, upholding AVP’s culture and values.
• Collaboration: Partner with the Talent Acquisition Manager to align sourcing efforts with practice needs.
• Event Representation: Represent AVP at veterinary conferences and career fairs.

Desired Experience & Qualifications

• Experience: Background in customer service, recruiting, sales, fundraising, or similar fields.
• Technology: Familiarity with applicant tracking systems (Workable is a plus).
• Skills: Excellent time management, organizational, and communication abilities.
• Mindset: Results-oriented, self-motivated, and a strategic thinker.
• Veterinary Industry: Prior experience in the veterinary field is a plus.
