Behavioral Health Training Manager

As the Training Manager you will play a crucial role in overseeing and guiding clinical programs within the organization. You will work closely with a team of dedicated professionals to ensure the delivery of high-quality services that promote resilience, health, and justice. Your expertise and leadership will contribute to the overall success of our programs and the positive impact we have on the communities we serve.

Benefits:

  • $70,000-$80,000 annually – 30 hours/week
  • Approximately 7 weeks of paid time off per year (including holidays)

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master's degree in social work, counseling, psychology, or a related field
  • Current licensure in a related discipline (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPCC) required
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in a clinical program setting, preferably within a school or community-based organization

Preferred: 

  • Demonstrated experience in program development, implementation, and evaluation
  • Proven leadership and supervisory skills, including the ability to motivate and mentor staff members
  • Strong knowledge of trauma-informed care principles and practices
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate and build relationships with diverse stakeholders
  • Experience working with individuals and families from diverse backgrounds, particularly those most impacted by systemic racism and poverty

Responsibilities:

  • Holds a small caseload of clinicians and run’s clinical groups
  • Works collaboratively with the Program Director and Admin Manager on the onboarding training of new clinical and supervisory staff 
  • Ensures accurate filing and communication across departments (i.e., People and Culture, HR, Industry Director) ensuring liability and risk management
  • Ensures accurate and timely staff time card submission of staff directly overseeing
  • Acts as a liaison between partners and the Industry Director where appropriate 
  • Participates in QA Meetings that provide thought partnership on improving strategies supporting clinical expectations
  • Develop and implement strategies that enhance effectiveness of clinician and supervisor role responsibilities 
  • With supervisors: ensures that supervisors are effectively implementing clinical expectations as described by Industry level standards and contract requirements (i.e., accurate and timely submission of clinical notes, accurate and timely renewal of BBS registration and licensure, accurate and timely submission of productivity hours, clinically sound reason and rationale supporting treatment decisions such as ensuring termination and or continuation of services.
  • Provides Quarterly professional training of staff that ensure best practices and compliance with contract requirements, clinical work, legal and ethical standards
  • Provide clinical consultation and support to clinicians on an as needed basis
