Expanded Learning After School Coordinator -(Stewart Elementary)

We are seeking a committed and passionate After School Program Coordinator to design a program that includes academic, enrichment and physical activities at Stewart Elementary.

Minimum Requirements

• 3 years experience in a K-12 setting or other youth lead program
• 1 year experience as a supervisor and proven ability to lead a team
• Bachelor’s degree or 2 years college (minimal 48 college units) with 2 years related experience
• Ability to work effectively with diverse district/school staff, students, parents, and community members
• Must provide a negative TB clearance
• Available Monday through Friday 10:00 am - 6:30 pm

Responsibilities:

• Responsible for all aspects of the day-to-day operation, supervision, and safety of the program at the school site
• Meeting agency and district recording requirements: attendance, payroll, and compliance
• Create, plan, and facilitate engaging enrichment and physical activities for students
• Promote a safe and positive emotional climate in the classroom, the campus, and your team
• Coaching and mentoring of staff
