Technical Writer

We’re seeking a detail-oriented Technical Writer to join our team and take ownership of drafting, editing, and organizing policy documents. This role is critical in ensuring our policies are clear, accurate, and accessible. You will work cross-functionally with various teams to collect information, develop comprehensive documentation, and maintain an organized repository for company policies and procedures.

Key Responsibilities

  • Policy Documentation: Draft, edit, and update policy documents to ensure clarity, consistency, and alignment with organizational standards. Translate complex concepts and regulatory requirements into clear, accessible language.
  • Collaboration and Cross-Functional Coordination: Work closely with stakeholders (Legal, Compliance, Project Administration, and Operations) to gather accurate information. Facilitate reviews and approvals with SMEs and leadership to align policies with organizational goals.
  • Content Organization and Management: Develop and maintain a centralized repository with version control for all policy documents. Identify gaps in documentation and proactively create or update policies to address them.
  • Continuous Improvement: Evaluate existing policies, recommend improvements, and stay current on best practices and regulatory changes. Provide guidance on documentation standards and processes to enhance overall efficiency.

  • Experience with project management tools like Monday.com, Smartsheet, Trello, etc.
  • Proven track record of taking initiative to locate and update existing documents, drive improvements, and streamline processes.
  • Ability to ensure all documentation adheres to style guides, compliance requirements, and best practices.
  • Comfortable working with multiple teams (Legal, Compliance, Operations, etc.) to gather information, solicit feedback, and maintain alignment.

The Base Salary for this position is $60,000 - $75,000. This range reflects base salary only and does not include additional compensation or benefits. The range displayed reflects the minimum and maximum range for a new hire across the US for the posted position. A candidate's specific pay will be determined on a case-by-case basis and may vary based on the candidate's job-related skills, relevant education, training, experience, certifications, and abilities of the candidate, as well as other factors unique to each candidate.
