The Role

Belong is looking for a full-stack engineer who operates at a 10X level—someone who can ship high-quality code fast, and who is driven by a deep curiosity for how AI will change the way we build software. You won’t just be writing code. You’ll be embedding AI at every level of the stack, from coding and deployment to user-facing features and autonomous workflows.

We are transitioning our entire engineering process into an AI-first approach. That means you’ll have the freedom—and the expectation—to leverage AI tools and frameworks to accelerate delivery, improve product intelligence, and automate previously manual tasks. You’ll be working directly with our founders and product leadership to design and build intelligent systems from scratch.

This role requires a builder mindset. We’re looking for someone who moves fast, thinks strategically, and has a strong bias toward action. You’ll be working in an environment where AI isn’t a buzzword—it’s how we work, ship, and deliver better experiences to our customers.

What You’ll Do

Build and ship production-grade full-stack applications and APIs, using C#/.NET Core and modern front-end frameworks like React or Next.js.

Design and deploy AI-powered product features—recommendation engines, intelligent bots, autonomous agents, and more.

Leverage AI throughout the engineering workflow—code generation, testing, documentation, deployment, and monitoring.

Build and integrate AI agent frameworks such as LangChain, Pinecone, or Weaviate.

Work with relational and non-relational databases (Postgres, SQL Server, MongoDB).

Build scalable, event-driven systems, and microservices architectures using message queues and pub/sub systems.

Push AI applications into production and ensure they are performant, secure, and scalable.

Collaborate directly with product, design, and engineering leadership to shape Belong’s AI roadmap.

What We’re Looking For

5+ years of full-stack development experience, with deep expertise in backend systems (C#/.NET Core preferred).

Experience AND strong interest in building AI-first applications and integrating AI agents and services.

Proficiency with modern front-end frameworks (React, Next.js).

Experience with cloud platforms (AWS preferred) and CI/CD pipelines.

Familiarity with AI/ML toolkits and frameworks (LangChain, OpenAI APIs, Pinecone, Weaviate, or similar).

Understanding of distributed systems, event-driven architectures, and microservices.

A bias toward rapid experimentation and iteration, with an ability to balance speed with quality.

A builder’s mentality—you’re willing to go from zero to one, and you care about impact over process.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills in an asynchronous environment.

Hands-on experience with AI-assisted coding tools (GitHub Copilot, Cody, etc).

Experience building AI-driven user experiences—chat interfaces, intelligent assistants, personalized UIs.

Prior experience working in startups or on greenfield product teams.

Interest in PropTech, FinTech, or consumer real estate.
