Position Overview:
As a Heavy Duty Truck Rental Sales Associate at Idealease of Baltimore, you’ll play a key role in driving the success of our rental operations. This position calls for someone who is highly organized, results-driven, and passionate about providing top-notch customer service. You’ll leverage your sales experience to manage client relationships, drive rental sales, and ensure the smooth operation of our rental services.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Greet and engage customers to assess their rental needs, offering expert advice and customized solutions to meet their requirements
  • Proactively promote and upsell rental services, including additional products and services to maximize value and revenue
  • Create accurate and competitive rental quotes while managing rental agreements and contracts from start to finish
  • Ensure the fleet of trucks is always available, well-maintained, and ready for rental by coordinating with the maintenance team to address any issues
  • Build long-lasting relationships with both new and existing clients to ensure customer satisfaction and foster repeat business opportunities
  • Stay up-to-date with industry trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback, using insights to improve service offerings and increase market share
  • Maintain precise records of rental transactions, track inventory, and assist in preparing sales reports as needed
  • 2+ Years of Experience in rental or leasing sales, preferably in the heavy-duty truck, automotive, or equipment rental industry
  • Proven Sales Success: A track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and driving business growth
  • Strong Customer Service Focus: The ability to establish strong relationships with clients and address their needs in a professional and timely manner
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Proficient in both verbal and written communication, with the ability to clearly explain rental terms, pricing, and features to clients
  • Technical Knowledge of Heavy Duty Trucks: Understanding of truck specifications, features, and maintenance requirements, allowing you to confidently provide recommendations and respond to technical inquiries
  • Negotiation & Closing Skills: Demonstrated ability to negotiate favorable rental agreements, handle objections, and close deals effectively while maximizing revenue for the company
  • Competitive compensation with a salary range of $60,000 to $90,000, based on your experience and sales performance
