Job Description

The Sales Support Administrator provides essential administrative, operational, and project support to the sales and marketing teams. This role is ideal for a highly organized, analytical professional who can balance multiple priorities and contribute to the successful execution of sales and marketing initiatives. This role reports directly to the VP Sales & Marketing. 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage calendars and coordinate scheduling for demos, training sessions, and client calls.

  • Prepare materials for meetings, organize agendas, and ensure smooth communication of schedules and updates.

  • Assist in coordinating marketing campaigns, ensuring project timelines are met and logistics are in place.

  • Track progress on campaigns, compile performance metrics, and assist in preparing reports for presentations.

  • Act as a point of contact between sales, product, and marketing teams to ensure alignment on marketing and sales initiatives.

  • Relay key messages and updates to internal teams and external partners to facilitate smooth project collaboration.

  • Refining market research and competitive analysis to help develop and define marketing strategies.

  • Gather customer insights, identify industry trends, and track emerging opportunities for potential business growth.

  • Support the planning and execution of specific marketing projects and campaigns, including managing timelines and deliverables.

  • Maintain marketing tools and software, ensuring data accuracy and correct usage across the team.

  • Proofread and edit marketing materials, ensuring consistency with Benchmark’s brand guidelines.

  • Work with the marketing team to maintain high-quality content across all platforms.

  • Update and maintain CRM records with accurate sales and customer information.

  • Document marketing activities within the CRM to support tracking, reporting, and future planning.

  • Assist with special projects as assigned, adapting to the needs of the sales and marketing teams.

  • Provide general administrative support to ensure efficient operation within the department.

Qualifications

  • 1 - 2 years experience 

  • Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field is preferred.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking skills with a high level of attention to detail.

  • Familiarity with CRM systems, project management software, and marketing tools is a plus.

  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with data analysis and reporting.

  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
