The GSE Vendor Engagement Coordinator manages vendor validation and engagement for third-party reports, including appraisals, engineering PCAs, environmental ESAs, and zoning reports for GSE products. This role involves procuring bids, confirming vendor selection, engaging vendors, and ensuring all documentation is uploaded to SharePoint and shared with Mortgage Banking (MB) and Underwriting (UW). • Identify and procure bids from three approved vendors for each report type based on location, time, and cost within 12/24 hours.
  • Confirm vendor selection with MB/Client and ensure good faith funds are received or confirm MB cost center responsibility.
  • Prepare and distribute TP engagement letters to vendors for signature acceptance.
  • Create and manage SharePoint sites for Generic, Freddie Mac, or Fannie Mae deal types, adding TP vendors and uploading draft and final reports/invoices.
  • Maintain tickler and status files to monitor and track timely receipt of draft and final reports, reminding vendors of due dates and escalating late deliveries.
  • Inform MB and UW of report drafts and final versions in SharePoint.
  • Reconcile the good faith account based on TP vendor engagements and prepare final invoices for processing.
  • Coordinate with the Hyderabad office for overflow work to prepare draft engagement letters.
  • Other duties as assigned.

We are passionate about your growth, so to achieve success in this role you should have:

  • Excellent interpersonal skills, confident in communicating with internal team members and external vendors.
