ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES- Prepares new account and service paperwork efficiently and effectively to completion.
- Provides outstanding customer service to facilitate and resolve client service requests.
- Facilitates projects and the execution of deliverables.
- Coordinates key aspects of event planning for client and internal meetings.
- Fulfills routine client service requests, resolves inquiries, and escalates cases when appropriate.
- Contributes to the development and execution of service standards for the team, resulting in client retention and satisfaction.
- Performs office operations to include distribution and tracking incoming mail.
- Manages the distribution of marketing materials to appropriate representative and/or clients.
- Other duties as assigned
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS- EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE: Associates Degree or equivalent from from two-year college or technical school required; and/or minimum of two (2) years of experience as an Administrative Assistant, preferably with a heavy client service focus and within an insurance-based industry.
- TECHNICAL/COMPUTER SKILLS: Must have knowledge of office operations, workflow analysis, data entry, and file management, as well as string skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel. Must also have ability to be proficient on applicable databases, systems, and vendor software programs.
DESIRED SKILLS- Customer Service: Appropriately and promptly responds to and resolves moderately complex situations/problems. Promptly responds to and thoroughly addresses customer needs and requests for service or assistance. Takes responsibility for ensuring the resolution of inquiries/requests received. Solicits feedback to improve service and enhance existing procedures.
- Written and Oral Communication: Writes and speaks clearly and persuasively in positive and negative situations. Listens and gets clarification. Participates in meetings. Sound writing, editing, and proof reading abilities.
- Prioritizing: Strong organizational and time management skills are critical. Must adhere to deadlines, with the ability to multi-task and prioritize needs. Ability/willingness to "think outside of the box" for new solutions and different approaches.
- Professionalism: Approaches others in a tactful manner. Reacts appropriately under pressure. Treats others with respect and consideration regardless of their status or position. Follows through on commitments.

$21.65 - $27.63 an hour
