The role:
Our team is seeking a Behavioral Health Provider Lead to work closely with BLP’s Health leadership team to provide and oversee the highest level of clinical care and to supervise our Behavioral Health Providers.
This is a hybrid position. Must be able to regularly work in-person at our office in Portland, Maine, travel throughout the state, and able to travel for regular meetings at our offices in Boston, MA or Manhattan NY approximately monthly. When not in-office, work will be performed remotely. Candidates must reside in-market.
What you will do:- Accountable for the medication management in our Behavioral Health programs, supervising a team of dedicated Mental Health Nurse Practitioners and Care Managers
- Develop and maintain a Collaborative Care model with the Responsive Care program
- Collaborate with Health Leadership on outcome-driven and data-informed program design and delivery
- Collaborate with the counseling team
- Oversee and support care coordination, advocating for the individual's healthcare needs, and coordinating care to minimize the fragmentation of health care delivery systems
- Develop and sustain relationships with internal and external partners to build programs
- Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation and databases on care managed populations
- Report to the Head of Behavioral Health
- Other duties as assigned
You are a good fit if you have:- Advanced Practice Provider with specialty Mental Health qualifications and at least 10 years experience providing care to people with dual diagnoses of an addiction and a mental health condition
- Licensed in at least one BLP state
- Experience with co-occurring diagnoses in vulnerable populations
- Experience with clinical operations and project management Management experience
- Ability to work independently and connect with team members virtually to complete tasks
- High comfort level with data analysis, medical informatics and technology, including EMR, email, and software and mobile apps (e.g., Google Apps)
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Comfort working in a fast-paced, innovative environment; creativity and flexibility are a must
- Commitment to a harm-reduction approach to individuals with substance use disorders in alignment with the BLP philosophy bringing love, belonging and purpose to underserved populations
- Excellent time management and strong attention to detail with the ability to multitask
- Exceptionally strong work ethic
- Team player with an “all hands on deck” attitude
It will also be great if you have:- Licensed in multiple BLP states of operation (NH, VT, MA, NC, ME)
- Experience with substance use disorder in pregnant individuals
- Experience with diverse populations with unique cultural, social, and economic factors that may impact patient care and outcomes
Work location requirements:- BLP operates in hybrid and remote work environments, which allows us to better meet our members and partners where they’re located. Candidates applying for this role must be willing and able to travel locally within the communities we serve and/or travel to onsite meetings as expected in coordination with their department and business needs.
When working from home, the requirements include:- Must have reliable internet service with a fast upload/download ability
- Ability to ensure any protected health or proprietary data/information is not visible (or audible) to others in any work location
- Must have a quiet space to speak to members, team members, or external partners with minimal background noise and distractions
$135,954 - $177,723 a year
The actual compensation offered within the range, along with title and level, will be dependent on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, relevant experience, qualifications, skills, level offered, business requirements, and performance expectations. All full-time BLPeeps are also eligible for equity in the form of stock options to be invested in BLP’s growth and success!
