About This Role
The Regional Account Director (RAD) Southeast Territory (NC, SC, VA, TN) will lead market access activities across the broad range of accounts within the regional healthcare ecosystem. This role will be responsible for identifying and building relationships with traditional and emerging accounts. As Biogen’s single point of contact, the RAD will build long-term relationships with key accounts including, but not be limited to, Regional Payers, State Medicaid, Integrated Health Systems, Value-Based care entities, and Pharmacy Benefit Managers (PBMs). A key objective of this role is to secure profitable access for Biogen’s growing portfolio. RADs have a deep understanding of local marketplace trends and use executive relationships to seek innovative ways to expand Biogen growth opportunities. The RAD leads regional and cross-functional internal collaboration, inclusive of regional and corporate business leaders, to drive execution that optimizes portfolio revenue, facilitates broad access (pharmacy and medical benefit), and maximizes patient outcomes. The RAD reports into the Director of Regional Accounts within Biogen’s Market Access & Reimbursement (MA&R) division.

The base compensation range for this role is $180,000 – $270,000. Base salary is determined by a combination of factors including, but not limited to, job related years of relevant experience, internal equity, and location of the job. Additionally, this role is eligible for participation in Biogen’s LTI grants and other incentive programs.
