Security Systems Project Manager

Position Overview

We are looking for an experienced Security Systems Project Manager to drive accurate and cost effective standardization and decision making that supports consistency for all global security technical efforts at a leading entertainment company. 

The Security Systems Project Manager will oversee the successful planning, coordination, and execution of a large-scale, corporate-wide upgrade of the organization's access control system. This includes managing timelines, resources, and cross-functional teams to ensure seamless system integration, minimal downtime, and adherence to security standards throughout the transition. They will be responsible for creating project plans, scheduling and driving meetings, and following up on action items with cross functional partners to close out initiatives, with the primary goal of delivering projects on time and within budget.

This is a full-time position offering competitive benefits, including: medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with 3.5% match, $100/month technology stipend, etc. The Security Systems Project Manager will work a hybrid model – four days in the Los Angeles office and one day remote.

Essential Job Functions

- Lead project management, scheduling, structure, and analysis by overseeing all aspects of security systems projects.

- Understand the project management life cycle, with an ability to accurately review proposals and develop preliminary project plans including, but not limited to tasks, timeframes, and deliverables.

- Supervise all project scheduling, monitor schedule variances, and recommend corrective action.

- Identify project level milestones and integrate them into an overall program level strategy. 

- Track project related issues and work with team members to follow up on issues and status. 

- Track actual spend, report variances, and adjust future forecasts with proper change control.

- Ensure projects are effectively executed within budgeted cost and time schedules to ensure positive cash flow.

- Respond to inquiries and answer technical client questions in a timely and professional manner.

- Provide expert level consultation and technical services on all aspects of the security systems.

- Ensure change management considerations are identified and implemented within all projects.

- All other assignments as required. 

Required Skills and Experience

- 4+ years of experience as a project manager leading enterprise wide security deployments.

- 4+ years of experience assisting with management of projects, budget input, and project updates.

- Expert understanding of Lenel and Milestone.

- Excellent project management skills with proficiency managing numerous concurrent project deliverables with little supervision.

- Strong analytic, oral, and written presentation skills including the ability to deliver communications centered on the target audience.

- Excellent personal communication and diplomacy skills with the ability to work inclusively with others. 

- Studio production industry experience is a plus. 

- Entertainment/tech industry experience is a plus.
